                                  …. happy na, birthday pa!

i do enjoy birthdays. whenever the -ber months come around, naloloka-loka na ako sa tuwa just looking forward to celebrating the birth of Jesus. it seems as if nothing can go wrong during the -ber months. they wouldn’t dare! or even if something unexpected happens, i feel that it’s really not so bad in light of what happened during the first christmas. haaay, birthdays. such wonderful days.

and of course birthday ko kahapon.

i love february! it’s such a nice month to be born in. bagay ako sa feb. loka-loka. dahil kulang-kulang. hahaha. i celebrate my birthday from feb 1 til feb 28. sometimes even until mid-march! wala lng. natutuwa lng kase ako na birthday ko. parang mas special siya than all the other days in the year. or baka feeling ko lng yun. hehe.

anyway, yesterday was really special. i turned 23. michael jordan nako. ^__^! my parents called in the early morning, at hinarana ako ng housemates ko ng ‘torete’ at ‘great is thy faithfulness’. san ka pa! at may leche flan pa! =) then my SGD groupmates offered birthday cupcakes with matching candles  depende sa filling nung cupcakes (blue ung candle for blueberry cupcake at red ung candle pag strawberry)! touched ako. in the afternoon, i attended the campus fellowship sa CPU, then sa gabi i ate out with my KCmates. i did nothing elaborately planned. in fact, i didn’t plan anything. pero it still turned out great.

nadagdagan nanaman kahapon ang aking mga alaga sa aking kama. hehe. everybody, meet my newest baby, CV. =) cute nya noh! pag tabi kami, mejo magkamukha kami. wahahahahah! sayang di ko malalagay dito ung isa ko pang bagong baby na si Dell. pero tsaka na un. makikilala nyo rin siya.

and it seems like everybody is once again irrational and walking around with silly grins on their faces. blech. people i know seem to have sat on something as they cannot sit still and they keep on going on and on and on about the love of their lives and if i already have something to do on that day. as if. haha! hearts are hanging everywhere, buffet promos abound and flowers and gift ideas start to become conspicuous if not utterly irritating. what is it with valentine’s day anyway? why is everybody waiting for this one day in the year? are they waiting for a day where they can have an excuse to be saccharine sweet and mushy? blech.

i am looking forward to tuesday, february for one reason and one reason alone. our lecture topic on valentine’s day is *voila!* DEFECATION! perfect. it couldn’t be more appropriate if i’d planned it myself. harhar! we’ll be talking about shit on valentine’s day! now, doesn’t that beat all?!

hindi naman ako bitter… its just that we had an exam today. eeep. ^_^!
